Rare Species Of Phuket Bird Park
One of the most exotic bird species that you can find at the Phuket Bird Park is the African Crowned Crane. These are large, long-legged birds that have straight beaks, with long necks and hind toes that are elevated. In addition to a golden crown rising from the back of their heads, these birds also tend to have pink or red as well as white patches on the cheeks. The African Crowned Crane is typically found in the Savannah regions of Sudan and Guinea, along with the southern areas of Congo, in wet and dry open habitats and freshwater marshes.
